The Schellborne Re-riders, members of the National Pony Express Association, will be involved in the 148th year anniversary re-ride on Saturday, June 20, 2008. The mail will be picked up on the White Pine/Eureka line at 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning and delivered in Ibapah, Utah, by 5:30 that evening. Anyone wishing to see this event should be at Schellborne station north of McGill, no later than 7 a.m., Saturday. It is possible that the mochila and rider may pass through Schellbourne within a two-hour time frame. It depends on when the mail is deleivered into the hands of the Re-Riders. This year's ride will include a satellite tracking device and by going to ponyexpressnationaltracking.com you will be able to use your computer to track the mail as it travels to St. Joseph, Mo.
