The Lund track team is gearing up for their region meet with a successful outing at the White Pine High School. The weather was uncharacteristically nice for this meet. Senior Tori Montoya was fifth in the shot (29’2”) and also recorded a PR in the 100-meter hurdles (19.43) and 300-meter hurdles (58.83). Sophomore Kelsea Reid recorded a PR in the 100-meter run (13.59) and ran a 29.32 in the 200-meter race. Sophomore Sam Cornelison ran a PR 30.30 in the 200m and jump 12’7” in the long jump. Harness, Jensen, Reid, and Cornelison won the 4 x 100 relay in a time of 56.76. The girls as a team scored 86 points for third place.
