Well fall is here and the schools are open. Now we are trying to stay dry, good news is we can cut down on watering our lawns. Bad news is we are looking forward to winter. I do hope you got all the summer fun in. I did.

I have been asked many times this year “What is RSVP?” Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is the official name. Who are the members and what do we do? Our members are people of all ages, who want to help seniors and the community. We help seniors with calls, rides, food, etc. and we find things for seniors to do. Everyone needs to feel useful and I feel RSVP is very useful. We are brave, courageous and bold, sorry that was Wyatt Earp, but we try.

The electric eel will short out in salt water. Thank you Carol. Carol has another – what is the only animal that will eat skunk?

We have flue shots coming up soon. Watch the paper for the date. “RSVP” will be there.

There are many good train rides coming up, I was on one last Saturday. Yes RSVP was there too. The Ghost Riders are great. Yes some are RSVP. Really Calvin the dress was your style.

September 20 is the food distribution and yes RSVP will be there.

I am going to the bull riding on Saturday, Sept. 14. I am sure RSVP will be there.

Sept. 13 is the Silver State Classic Parade of Cars. You’re right, RSVP again.

Sept. 14: Lions Club Pancake Breakfast. I do not know if RSVP will be there.

Did you get it? RSVP is everywhere. If you need help with something call RSVP. Sorry we do not do car repairs.

The drawing will be held this week, so cut out your article and get it in my box. You guessed it, RSVP.
