The Learning Bridge Charter School in Ely opened its doors Sept. 9 to students in classes K-6. Learning Bridge is a public school, but offers an alternative approach to excellence in education. As a nonprofit public school in its first year of operation, they are in need of community support to make their launch a success. John Taylor and Doyle Blades from Robinson’s IT Department prepared 14 laptops, 11 desktops, as well as keyboards, mice, and cables for donation to the school. Founder and 1st Grade Teacher Julie Krch met with RNMC on Aug. 21 to accept the computers.
