Report of a problem with a subject in Ely — Officer received a report of an individual causing a disturbance at a local bar. Officer contacted the individual and identified him as Howard J. Sullivan Jr. age 51 of Carmichael, CA. Sullivan was arrested for obstructing a police officer.
Report of a welfare check in Ely — The area was patrolled, but the individual was not located.
Report of a vehicle blocking the roadway in Ely — Officer contacted the operator of the vehicle and advised him to move the vehicle to another location.
Report of threats in Ely — Reporting party stated that he is receiving threats from an individual. Investigation continues.
Report of a child custody problem in Ely — Reporting party stated that her ex-husband was not following the child exchange order set forth by District Court. Officer contacted the ex-husband and advised him to follow the order. The child exchange took place without any further problems.
Report of a suspicious vehicle — Officer contacted the operator of the vehicle and reported that no crime had occurred.

Report of an accident — Nataliia Topchii was operating a vehicle traveling on US 50 near Sacramento Pass. She stated that another vehicle swerved into her lane causing her to leave the roadway and strike a tree. The accident was not investigated at the scene due to Topchii having the vehicle removed by a local tow company. A report was completed.

Report of a domestic disturbance in Ely — Two subjects were observed arguing while walking down the street. Both agreed to settle their differences.
Report of a suspicious vehicle — The deputy checked the area, but was unable to locate the described vehicle.
Report of a dog problem in Ely — A dog was reportedly being abused by its owner. The owner was contacted and allowed officers to see his dog, which appeared to be healthy and ok.
Report of vandalism in Ely — The reporting party claimed an unknown subject damaged part of his vehicle. A report was completed.
Report of threats in Ely — The reporting party said a person came to her residence and made a threat toward another family member. Officers were unable to locate the person making the threats.
Report of a battery in Ely — The reporting party claimed to have been battered, but then refused to give officers any information.
Report of a delayed accident — Josephine Dickson, of Arizona, reported hitting a deer while driving on the highway. A report was completed.
Report of a man with a gun in Ely — Officers discovered 54-year-old David Alexander, of Ely, was intoxicated and in possession of a firearm. It was also discovered Alexander had discharged a firearm from a structure. Alexander was taken into custody without incident.
Report of stolen property in Ely — The reporting party heard a loud noise and looked outside to find someone had stolen his vehicle. A report was completed and the vehicle information was entered into NCIC. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
Report of a civil problem in Ely — The reporting party complained that a roommate wouldn’t let her take some property when she moved out. Both parties were advised the issue was civil, and to handle it as such.

Report of a domestic disturbance — Officer contacted the parties involved who had been involved in a verbal argument. The female subject left the residence to go to work. The male subject was intoxicated and he was advised to keep the peace.

Report of an accident in Ely — Reporting party stated that a vehicle was parked next to his residence and it appeared it had been involved in an accident. Officer located the vehicle and reported that it had been reported as a stolen vehicle. Investigation continues.

Report of a juvenile problem — Officer contacted a juvenile who had been playing with matches. The juvenile was warned about the dangers of his actions.
Report of a juvenile problem — Reporting party stated that one of his children became angry and was hitting his other children. The child was contacted and warned about his behavior.
Report of an arrest in Ely — Officer reported that Alan J. Miller age 34 of Ely was arrested on an Ely Justice Court warrant.

Report of a theft — Reporting party stated that someone had stolen his four-wheeler while it was parked in his yard. Investigation continues.
Report of a trespasser in Ely — Officer contacted the individual who had been trespasser earlier from a local bar. The individual was advised to leave the establishment.

Report of a domestic battery in Ely — Officer received a report of an individual who had been battered. During the officers investigation Kenneth L. Jones Jr. age 23 of Ely was arrested. Jones was arrested for domestic battery with strangulation and false imprisonment. He is accused of battering his girlfriend and not allowing her to leave the residence.
Report of a trespasser in Ely — Officer contacted the individual who had been asked to leave a local bar. He was advised to leave.

Report of a citizens assist — Officer received a report of a vehicle that had fallen into a lake. Officer located the operator and the vehicle. The operator had attempted to drive his vehicle onto the lake and it fell into the ice. He was able to get another vehicle and pull it out.

Report of a suspicious subject in Ely — Officer received a report of an individual sleeping inside a local bar. The individual was contacted and advised to leave.

Report of a dog problem — Reporting party stated that he had rented a home to an individual and when the individual moved out he left his dog in the home. Officers are attempting to located the renter.
Report of a domestic battery in Ely — Reporting party stated that she gotten into an argument with her ex-boyfriend over the custody of their child. The ex-boyfriend then battered her. Officer reported that during the investigation Aaron R. Drake age 24 of Ely was arrested for domestic battery, second offense.
Report of a problem with a subject — Reporting party stated that an individual was placing notes on people’s cars and homes advising that they are parking their cars improperly. The individual was contacted and advised not to place the notes on people property. She was advised to notify law enforcement if there were parking problems.
Report of property damage in Ely — Reporting party stated that someone had broken the glass on one of his vending machines. The incident was documented.

Report of a theft in Ely — Reporting party stated that an individual came to her place of employment and stole some money. The individual was located and identified as Nicholas J. Glettig age 28 of Ely. Glettig was arrested for petit larceny and also held on a probation violation.
Report of a possible burglary — Reporting party stated that her garage door was open and she believes she had closed it. Officer checked the garage and reported that the wind had blown it open.
Report of a battery in Ely — Officer contacted one of the parties involved who refused to provide any information on who had been fighting.
