Proceed use should be aligned with EOE’s mission and dedicated to the improvement of business or organization health and wellness (i.e., the purchase of equipment for physical education classes, school or community sports; gymnasium, playground or park improvements; etc.).

Interested businesses or organizations should submit a letter or email providing the following information:

1. Organization name and purpose.

2. What would the funds be used for?

3. How does this use align with EOE’s mission of encouraging people to be active and leading a healthy lifestyle?
Submissions should be mailed Ely Outdoor Enthusiasts, P.O. Box 151162, Ely, NV 89315 or emailed to info@elyoutdoorenthusiasts.org. Please call Nancy Herms with any specific questions (702-994-5722).  Deadline for submittal is February 24.

Since its inception in 2012, EOE has sought to encourage people to be active and lead healthy lifestyles through fitness events that raise funds for community-wide wellness while promoting tourism in White Pine County.
In addition to this year’s upcoming Color Me Ely 5k in May and Take it to the Lake Half Marathon & 10k—the proceeds of which from 2012 went to the Jackson Laboratory for Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Respiratory Distress (SMARD) research—in September, EOE is excited to host the Bristlecone Birkebeiner, a cross country ski race, this February.
