I do hope you have not gotten the flu that is going around. I have been very lucky. So far no signs of illness in my life, unless you consider the brain.
Mentally Strong People Don’t Do — Get jealous over the successes of others. When others succeed, you should be happy. If they can do it, so can you. The success of others does not, in any way, lessen the chances of you succeeding. If anything, it should motivate you to keep pushing forward.
There were many people who came out to say good by the Mayor Jon. The memorial was a fantastic tribute to Jon.

This Friday is the Northern Nevada Fresh Food distribution. 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. If you come early your wait will be longer. Lori has come up with some plans to make your wait shorter. We I’ll try her ideas this week.
Next Wednesday the social office will be calling the Senior Center at 2 p.m.. If you have any questions, be there.
Nevada Department of Veterans Services will be in Ely on March 18 (1 – 5 p.m.) and March 19 (8 a.m. – noon).
Nevada Legal Services will be here on March 27. Sign up sheet is at the Senior Center.
Blood Pressure Clinic will be on March 12. The city of Ely EMT and Fire Departments do a great job, and they are very friendly.
The USDA Food distribution will be March 25 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.
