It seemed I spent most of my time in meetings this week. All were very interesting and included many different people.
There are many good things in the works. One is the possibility of assisted living here in Ely.
People working on this project are Michelle Gardner, administrator in training, and Joline Huren, interim executive director, both of the Ely Care Center. Also involved are County Commissioner Richard Howe and RSVP.
Robinson Mine, William Bee Ririe Hospital and RSVP are joining together to hand out vouchers for the Health Fair on June 6.
These vouchers will pay for blood test on the day of the Health Fair. Vouchers will be distributed on an income basses. There will be a form to fill out to qualify. If you would like a form please call RSVP at 289-6323, leave your name and phone number.

Things that Mentally Strong People Don’t Do- Focusing on their Weaknesses
Although working on our weakness does have its benefits. It’s more important to focus on banking on our strengths. The most well-rounded person isn’t the person that gets the furthest in life.
Being average in all regards makes you average. How’re ever, mastering a certain skill set or trait will allow you to beat competition with less effort.
April 4 is the Northern Nevada Fresh Food. 3 to 5 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.
Bingo was won by Pat Wilcher. I do believe she was also the winner last week.
Bowling had a fantastic turn out. All teams are full and we had extra bowlers.
