Report of a citizen assist — Officer received a report of an individual who was in need of medical assistance. The individual was taken to E.R.

Report of a theft — Reporting party stated that someone had stolen his ATV. Investigation continues.

Reportof a parking problem — Officer reported that the vehicle was legally parked on a public street.

Report of a vehicle violation — Reporting party stated that several individuals were riding in the camper shell of a vehicle. Officer located the vehicle which was parked and unoccupied.

Report of a welfare check — The individual was contacted and stated that’ she was fine.

Report of an arrest — Officer reported that Landon H. Whaley age 29 of Ely was arrested for driving revoked and expired registration.

Report of a civil problem — Reporting party requested a deputy stand by while an execution on some property was issued.

Report of child abuse — Officer received a report of a child that had been abuse by his father. During the investigation Christopher M. Hower age 29 of Ely was arrested for child abuse. Investigation continues.

Report of a violation of a court order — Reporting party stated that an individual who he has a protective order against had attempted to contact him over the internet. The incident was documented.

Report of an alarm — False alarm.

Report of a dead deer in the roadway — The deer was removed.

Report of found property — Reporting party located items from an individual’s wallet. The individual was contacted and advised to claim the items at the Sheriff’s Office.

Report of somone living in a vacant home — Officer checked the home and didn’t find anyone living at the residence

Report of a fraud — Reporting party stated that someone had used her credit card without her permission. Investigation continues.

Report of a welfare check — Officer patrolled the area, but the individual was not located.

Report of a dog bite — Reporting party stated that she was riding her bike when she was bitten by a dog. Officer is attempting to contact the owner of the dog.

Report of an arrest — Officer reported that Pamela Lusetti age 50 of Lund was arrested on a Nevada Highway Patrol warrant.

Report of a juvenile problem — Reporting party stated that she had left some property at a friend’s home and the friend had damaged the property. She was advised to speak to her parents before filling a police report.

Report of a trespasser — Reporting party stated that an individual was wondering around the property at a vacant home. All the parties involved were contacted and the situation was resolved.

Report of a domestic distrubance — Officer contacted the parties involved who were engaged in a verbal argument. The parties involved were separated for the night.

Report of trespassers — Officer received a report of several individuals entering into a vacant building. Officer located the individuals inside the building and reported that two juveniles were detained and later released to their parents. Two adults were arrested for inference of intent. They were identified as Brendan Harmon age 19 of Ely and Michael Steele age 20 of Ely.

Report of a death — Officer reported that William Hart age 70 of Ely died at his residence of natural causes.

Report of found property — Reporting party stated that he located a four wheeler crashed on a dirt road. Officer reported that the four wheeler had been reported stolen a few days ago. The four wheeler was recovered.

Report of a private property accident — David Nardi of Lund was operating a vehicle and was backing up. He failed to see a vehicle behind him being operated by Edgar Mendoza of Ruth. Nardi’s vehicle struck Mendoza’s vehicle causing damage. An accident report was completed.

Report of an alarm — False alarm.

Report of threats — Reporting party stated that she received a letter from an individual over a business deal that was in dispute. The reporting party wanted the incident documented.

Report of a civil problem — Reporting party stated that she was having problems with her landlord over when she is to be out of a residence she is renting. She was advised it was a civil problem.

Report of an attempted break — Reporting party stated that a door on a storage unit at her place of business had been damaged. The incident was documented.

Report of threats — Reporting party stated that an individual drove by in a vehicle and made a threats towards him. The incident was documented and the reporting party was advised to obtain a protective order.

Report of dogs at large — The owner of the dogs was contacted and he took them home.

Report of an alarm — False alarm.

Report of a juvenile party — Officer received a report of a juvenile party occurring at a local motel. During the officers investigation one juvenile was detained for minor in consumption of alcohol and three adults were issued citations for minor in consumption of alcohol.

Report of a juvenile problem — Reporting party stated that several juveniles were pointing laser lights at vehicles. The area was patrolled, but the juveniles were not located.

Report of a loud argument — Officer contacted several individuals involved and reported that one juvenile was detained for minor in consumption and one adult was arrested for minor in consumption. The other adults present were advised to keep the peace. The adult that was arrested was identified as Braxton R. Crepeau age 18 of Ely.

Report of stolen debit card — Reporting party stated that someone had stolen his debit card and had used it several times. Investigation continues.

Report of an alarm — False alarm.

Report of a injured deer — Officer reported that the deer had caught its back legs in a fence and had broken its legs. The deer was put down.

Report of a fraud — Reporting party stated that she had received a telephone call from an individual who claimed a family member owed money and if she didn’t pay it she was liable for the debt. The reporting party was advised it was a scam and stop all contact with the caller.

Report of a traffic hazard — Reporting party stated that a semi-truck had turned around in the roadway causing a traffic hazard. Officer located the vehicle and warned the operator about his driving behavior.

Report of a found item — Officer located a camera in the roadway. The camera was placed into lost and found.

Report of an open door — Officer received a report of an open door on a vacant business. The business was checked and the building secured.

Report of a domestic disturbance — Officer contacted the parties involved who were involved in a verbal argument. The parties had ended their relationship and separated for the night.

Report of a citizen assist — Officer secured a vehicle for an individual who had been admitted to the hospital.

Report of a possible burglary — Officer received a report of a door that was open on a vacant home. Officer reported that the home was checked and that the wind had blown the door open.

Report of a fight — Officer reported that when he arrived no fight was located.

Report of a juvenile problem — Reporting party stated that several juveniles were knocking on people doors. The area was patrolled, but the juveniles were not located.

Report of a suspicious vehicle — Officer contacted the occupants who had been involved in a verbal argument. The parties involved separated for the night.

Report of a problem with a subject — Officer received a report of an individual who was intoxicated and passed out at a local bar. Officer contacted the individual and a family member provided him a ride home.

Report of a suspicious subject — Officer patrolled the area, but the individual was not located.

Report of a welfare check — The area was patrolled, but the individual was not located.

Report of a welfare check — Officer contacted the individual and reported that he was fine.

Report of a lost item — Reporting party stated that he left his I Pad at a local park and when he returned to get it, it was gone.

Report of a juvenile problem — Reporting party stated that his juvenile daughter had left to stay at a friend’s home, but she had left he friends home to go visit a family member. The juvenile was located and returned home.

Report of a motorist assist — Officer assisted a motorist who had ran out of gas.

Report of a shoplifter — Officer received a report of an individual who had shoplifted at a local store. Officer reported that Lacey J. Southall of Ely was issued a citation for petit larceny.

Report of an arrest — Officer reported that Jesse Baca age 33 of Ely was arrested for D.U.I. # 3, failure to maintain vehicle within marked lanes, and improper turn.

Report of a medical call — Officer assisted a individual who was not breathing. He was taken to E.R. by ambulance.

Report of a public nuisance — Officer contacted the occupant of the residence and advised her to clean up the garbage.

Report of threats — Reporting party stated that a family friend was intoxicated and became argumentative, challenging people to fight. When officers arrived the family friend had left the area. Officers attempted to locate him, but he made himself unavailable.

Report of possible child abuse — Reporting party stated that he was having an argument with an individual and the individual made some comments about what he had done to his child. Investigation continues.

Report of a theft — Reporting party stated that her license plate had been stolen off her vehicle.

Report of a domestic disturbance — Officer contacted the parties involved and reported that no domestic disturbance was located. The parties involved had recently gotten married and were celebrating on their honeymoon.
