The White Pine County Library summer reading program began on June 13 with a party in the park. The library will host daily reading hours from Monday -Thursday for different age groups.
Reading logs will be kept in the library to keep track of how much each kid reads and will be used to determines who wins the grand prize of an electronic reading tablet when the program ends on August 15. A tablet will be awarded to the winner of each age group, ages 2-4, 5-7 and 8-10.
Reading Hours:
Mondays — 10 a.m. 2-3 year olds
Tuesdays — 10 a.m. 3-4 year olds, 1 p.m. 5-6 year olds.
Wednesdays — 1 p.m. 7-8 year olds
Thursdays — 1 p.m. 9-10 year olds
