Co-owner of Micky’s Journey Trails

Micky’s Journey Trails LLC is a new and upcoming charter service that would like to take you on the greatest adventure of a lifetime, for you and your kids. We’re an Interstate business that currently have routes going to Cedar City and Saint George and have future plans of going to Wendover and Salt Lake City. Our objective is to ensure people that don’t have proper transportation or people stranded in Ely can get out of town and go to places like airports, grocery stores and even hospitals.

Micky’s Journey Trails LLC is run and operated by John and Mary Coppock and offer fares that are reasonable for anyone in town. Micky’s Journey Trails was named after our daughter who passed away almost three years ago.

Makayla (Micky) Coppock passed away on Nov. 27, 2011 at the age of 16. Micky volunteered at a local animal adoption rescue, contracted Parvo, a virus that attacks vital organs and causes them to shut down and 12 days later she passed away. We had Micky cremated and she goes everywhere with her dad and I.

Micky had gone to the county auction with her dad on Oct. 26, 2013. Micky’s dad, John, said that Micky told him to bid on Bus 206 and he did. Four days later he was told he won the bid and the bus. Micky told her dad that he needed to buy the bus and help the community get to where they needed to go.

Micky and Micky’s Journey Trails wants to have a lasting influence on the community and all of you, her friends.
