SEPT. 9

Report of a problem with a subject — An intoxicated subject was located laying in a local park.  The subject was given a ride home by a friend.

Report of a dog problem — The reporting party complained about a barking dog and was allowed to sign a citizen’s complaint.  Citation to be issued to the dog owner when located.

Report of an abandoned vehicle — The reporting party complained about a vehicle abandoned on their property.  They were advised they were responsible for the removal of said vehicle.

Report of an alarm — The alarm was found to be false.

Report of a dogbite — The reporting party claimed her daughter was bitten by a dog.  The owner was located, identified as Jaime Bernabe, and was issued a citation for dangerous dog.  The dog was taken to the dog pound.

Report of a reckless driver — The reporting party claimed a vehicle had been trying to pass him in a no passing zone.  The deputy was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

Report of a theft — The reporting party claimed a subject stole human remains.  The investigation continues.

Report of a hit and run — The reporting party claimed someone struck his vehicle while it was parked in front of his residence.  The suspect vehicle was later located, after it had crashed a second time.  The driver, identified as 38 year old Kevin Joseph Herrick of Elko, was later arrested for hit and run and driving under the influence.

Report of a domestic disturbance — The reporting party claimed to hear a female screaming.  A male and female were located and claimed to only be arguing.  Both were warned about disturbing the peace.

Report of a hit and run — The reporting party found someone had struck his parked vehicle sometime during the night.  Deputies followed the debris trail and located the striking vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as 22 year old Ely resident Zakkary Sean Gregersen.  Gregersen was issued a citation for hit and run.

Report of a hit and run — A local business owner claimed an unknown vehicle had struck part of the building.  Unknown striking vehicle.  A report was completed.

Report of a theft — The reporting party claimed a male, whom he allowed to live with him, had stolen some personal property and medication.  The investigation continues.

Report of a battery — The reporting party claimed a male subject entered her home, while she slept, and battered her.  The report was unfounded.

Report of a battery — The reporting party claimed to have been battered by a juvenile.  Contact was made with the juveniles, who claimed to have been battered first by the reporting party.  A witness at the scene corroborated the reporting party’s story.  A report was completed, which will be submitted to Juvenile Probation.

Report of a threats — The reporting party claimed several subjects came to his residence threatening to batter him.  All of the subject left prior to law enforcement arrival.  A report was completed.

Report of a hit and run — The reporting party stayed at a local hotel and claimed his vehicle had been struck by an unknown vehicle sometime during the night.  A report was completed.

Report of vandalism — The reporting party claimed an unknown subject broke several windows on numerous abandoned vehicles on his property.  A report was completed.

Report of a domestic dispute — The reporting party observed what she believed to be domestic violence situation between several people in a car.  Deputies, along with troopers form the Nevada Highway Patrol checked the reported area, but the vehicle and occupants were gone.

Report of a dog problem — The reporting party complained about the malodor emanating from the neighbor’s yard caused by canine egesta.  Contact to be made with the neighbor to have them clean up their yard.

Report of a welfare check — It was learned the subject was out of town.

Report of a problem with a subject — During a neighborhood watch meeting, there were several complains of a male driving recklessly.  The male was located and warned about his driving habits.

Report of a 911 hang-up — The citizen was contacted and claimed to have dialed 911 by mistake.

Report of a hold-up alarm — False alarm, no assistance needed.

Report of child abuse — The reporting party believes her child is being abused when at her ex-husband’s home.  The investigation continues.

Report of an alarm — The alarm was accidentally triggered by a contractor.

Report of an animal problem — The reporting party claimed several horses were being neglected.  The deputy located the animals, which appeared to be underfed.  Contact to be made with the owner.

Report of a problem with a subject — The reporting party claimed a subject was harassing people signing a recall petition.  The subject was advised and complied.

Report of a welfare check — The subject was located and claimed to be fine.

Report of a welfare check — The subject was located deceased in his residence.  The investigation showed the death was self-inflicted.

Report of a problem with subjects — The reporting party was having an issue with his former girlfriend and her friends who came to move her belongings out of their residence.  Both were advised the issue was civil, and they agreed to work something out.

Report of a theft — The reporting party claimed money was missing from his residence.  It was later discovered that his daughter had invited several friends over while the reporting party was at work.  The investigation continues.

Report of drugs — The reporting party claimed to observed drug paraphernalia while at an acquaintance’s’ home.  The information was passed on to the Eastern Nevada Narcotics Task Force.

Report of a music disturbance — No disturbance was located.

Report of suspicious subjects — Three subjects were reportedly loitering near a business after business hours.  The area was checked, but the subjects were gone.

Report of a burglary — The reporting party claimed an unknown subject broke into his business and stole equipment.  The investigation continues.

Report of drugs — The odor of marijuana was reportedly emanating from a residence.  The occupants were contacted and one of the occupants, identified as Damian Bonsell admitted to possessing and using marijuana.  Bonsell was issued a citation.

SEPT. 16

Report of an arrest — A deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as 26 year old Ely resident Jordan Edmo.  Edmo was later arrested for driving under the influence and various other infractions.

Report of a death — Deputies responded to a residence on a report of an unresponsive male.  When they arrived, the male was found to be deceased.  There were no signs of foul play.  The decedent was removed and later transported for autopsy.

Report of a public nuisance — Contact was made with the residents of a home that has been the subject of several complaints.  The owners were informed they had ten days to clean up their property.

Report of a parking violation — The reporting party complained about several vehicles being stored on the roadway.  The area was checked and several vehicles were red-tagged for removal.

Report of a welfare check — The subject claimed to be fine.

Report of perjury — The reporting party, who was involved in a civil action, claimed the other party lied while under oath in court.  The investigation continues.

Report of a civil problem — The reporting party claimed to be having issues with his landlord after she violated a verbal renter’s agreement.  He was advised to handle the issue through civil court.

Report of a problem with a subject — The reporting party said a male was at his home, claiming it was his own.  Contact was made with the male, who agreed to leave.

Report of a private property accident — Robert Fonoimoana backed from a parked position in a parking lot, striking a pole.  A report was completed.

Report of harassment — The reporting party claimed a female was harassing her regarding a civil issue.  The complaint did not meet the requirements for harassment or referral for a protection order.

Report of a fight — Three people became engaged in a fight regarding past girlfriends and high emotions.  All parties separated for the night.
