She grew up on the Georgetown Ranch in Ely and spent a year at Brigham Young University after graduating from White Pine High in 1958. She began her career in the auto dealership industry at Hyland Motors in Ely, and continued that career after she moved to Las Vegas in July 1986, working at Friendly Ford 18 years until she retired in 2004. She truly enjoyed her work and those she worked with.
She loved to entertain and was rarely without company. She enjoyed reading, golfing and playing with her 9-year-old Shih Tzu Chuie but most of all she loved to spend time with family and her closest friends, talking about the day with a good glass of wine. She was a blessing to every person she met and will be dearly missed.
