The White Pine Chamber of Commerce is working with the downtown business owners to offer Halloween treats on Friday, Oct. 31. Businesses will have staff members in costume to hand out treats, coupons, and other goodies. This is a great time to stop in to one of the new businesses or one that you haven’t visited for a while to see what is new in the shops.
The White Pine County Library hosts the Community Halloween Party that afternoon from 2-4 pm. Non- profit groups and businesses set up tables at the convention center so children can trick or treat inside. KDSS Radio will be there to provide entertainment.
Halloween is one of our Hometown Holidays offering events like the Pumpkin Chuckin’, the Haunted Train Rides, Halloween parties and haunted houses. Check the calendar of events or call the Chamber officer for more information.
While downtown, take time to enjoy the flowers and decorations along Aultman Street and stop in to the businesses participating in “Trick or Treat the Street.” They will have orange and black balloons outside.
