The Nevada Northern Railway’s award-winning Polar Express starts Nov. 22 and runs on select dates/times through Dec. 27. This magical train ride, licensed by Warner Bros., is pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive and follows the beloved story by Chris Van Allsburg, which is read aloud.

The movie soundtrack is played overhead while servers bedecked in white chef jackets with poufy white hats serve hot chocolate and cookies to all passengers.  Santa Claus boards the train at the North Pole and greets all passengers.  His trusty helper gives each one a silver bell as a souvenir of the journey.  Christmas carols are sung on the way back. Bring your cameras!  Pajamas are encouraged for all!  (The trains run rain, shine, sleet or snow – dress warm!)
