The White Pine County Renewable Energy Conference will run from 1 to 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 inside the Bristlecone Convention Center. The conference will have presentations on bio mass, geothermal heat for your home, solar energy, wind energy, electric energy, the future of coal generated energy, recycling and more. Besides presentations, the on day conference will also have information booths about how to save money for homes and businesses through energy efficiency. The conference is sponsored by White Pine Middle School’s science teachers in partnership with White Pine County and the Department of Energy grant.
