The 11 and Up Club is now meeting every Tuesday at the White Pine County Library from 3:45 to 5 p.m. Thanks to the donation from the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) and LEGO Systems, Inc. of 20,000 LEGO pieces, we will be making LEGO creations every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. What is Making? Making is the simple act of doing. It is both a physical experience—being hands on—and awareness that the world is constantly being built and rebuilt. Making is not an end result or finished project; rather it’s what is learned through the process.  On the Tuesday’s we are not building with LEGO’s, we will be creating, designing and building other crafts; such as duct tape crafts, paper mache masks, survival bracelet’s, cooking, and much more. The Library will be teaming up with White Pine 4-H and the White Pine County Co-operative extension Program. We also, have many talented volunteers lined up for some exciting creations with LEGO’s and other local talents for various crafts.  If interested in joining the 11 and Up Club please call the White Pine County Library at 775-293-6900. Legos
