Liam Shaw1 came in to this world on November 11, 1995.  He came in to his parents’ world on July 5, 1999, and then became a permanent part of their world on December 15, 2000.  He brought much joy to his parents Dean and Danielle Morrill Shaw, and his older brother Jon Michael Shaw.

Liam loved to play video games.  He had a dream to become a video game developer after high school.  He just started his first semester at GBCC.  While in high school, Liam participated in band and choir.  He was able to go to Disneyland twice with the band, and loved those trips with his friends.  He was a member of the LDS church.

Liam was lucky enough to harvest an antelope, elk, and deer before he turned 18, a feat some never accomplish.  He enjoyed the annual Memorial Day campout at Kalamazoo and the Morrill Family Reunion every year.  He looked forward to his trips to Myrtle Beach, and recently enjoyed a family vacation to the Dominican Republic.

Liam was a gentle soul, and his smile spoke volumes.   He didn’t expect much, but always gave.  He may not have been here with us as long as we would have liked, but the time he was here has impacted our lives forever.  We will miss him…

His maternal grandparents are Jerry and Rae Jean Morrill.  His paternal grandparents are John and Peggy Hironymous.   He has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.

Liam kept this verse on his wall.  “Have not I commanded thee?  Be strong and of a good courage;  Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed;  For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” –  Joshua 1:9

Services were held Thursday, March 5th At the Ely LDS Ward Chapel.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the White Pine High School band and choir.
