Bonnie Kay Hale Wallace was born on March 18, 1950 and died of natural causes in her home on March 22, 2015.
She was born in Old Ruth Nevada to Charles and Gladys Hale, and grew up in the company of brothers: Roy, Lynn, Eugene and sisters: Sally, Daisy, Lola, Pat, Sue and Sandy.
Bonnie married David Wallace in 1970 and gave birth to her beloved son, Darren Eugene in July the following year.
Throughout her life Bonnie worked in banking, accounting and office management. For a time she operated her own book keeping business. She retired in 2012.
Bonnie was a beautiful person whose smile actually lit up the room. She was one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known. She did so many thoughtful things for those she loved and cared about. Every year, she threw a Christmas party for her co-workers’ children, providing gifts and treats for all. She never forgot a birthday or an anniversary. If you were a homeless feline, you could always count on Bonnie for a free meal and an ear scratch, even a trip to the vet if you needed it.
Bonnie put her heart into everything she did, and it showed. She grew beautiful, mini gardens in a multitude of pots. She baked the most delicious chocolate chip cookies you could imagine; she didn’t have a recipe, it was just something she did with that incredible magic of hers. She swooned to Patsy Cline when she swept or dusted, and rocked out to Billy Idol when she ironed. Bonnie liked to laugh and to be laughed with. She loved the color purple, old sappy movies, and a good barbeque. But more than anything she loved her family, and friends.
Bonnie leaves behind her son, Darren, his wife, Jenni, granddaughters: Everlyse and Heaven, sisters: Sandy, Sue, Daisy, Lola, and Pat, brother: Lynn, and Father in Law, Cliff. She will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bonnie will be greatly missed.

Bonnie and I were first cousins (her father and my mother were siblings) and I was so very pleased to have met her and some of my other cousins, as adults, in Ely in April of 2008. My heart is so sad with this news of her passing. I liked her a lot. To all of my cousins, please know that you are in my thoughts.
