Leonard George Shaull passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He died in his home in McGill with his wife and children around him. He will be greatly missed by his family. He was 84 years old when he passed away. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on March 6, 1931.
He had four sisters and five step brothers. He served for two years in the Korean War. On September 20, 1953 he married Patricia Ann Crawford. They had three children. In March of 1954 they moved to McGill, NV where Leonard got a job at Kennecott Copper Company. He took an apprenticeship and became a steel worker. He worked for the copper mine until 1983 when he retired. After his retirement he and his wife spent nine months of the year in Quartzite, AZ and then later Logandale, NV enjoying the warm weather. His favorite things to do were take walks, read western novels and watch the Denver Broncos win football games.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Shaull, his daughter Linda (Jerry) Garcia, his sons Michael and Kurt Shaull, four granddaughters; Marci (Steve) Romero, Amy (Brett) Gale, Christina (Brady) Burdick and Samantha Garcia (Kayde). He also is survived by ten great grandchildren; Angelina and Jordan Romero; Colby, Mercedes, and Jadyn Gale; Stephen, Mya, Isabelle, and Laeni Burdick; and Paisley Whipple.
There will be no services. Leonard was cremated, as to his wishes and his ashes will stay with his loving wife Pat.
