Betty Louise Kabler Overson, age 79 of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away April 23, 2015 at Heritage Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care, where she resided the past two years and was loved by everyone. Betty was born May 2, 1935 in Kingsville, Texas to Oliver and Clara Kabler. She attended schools in Kingsville, Texas.
Betty married Larry Overson on September 11, 1954. She moved to Ely, Nevada where she spent most of her life.
Betty spent a number of years working for White Pine County School District in the Administrative Offices untill her retirement. She was a member of Rebekas’s, Red Hats, and Eastern Star. Betty loved doing crafts and working outdoors.
Betty is survived by her 4 children; Kathy (Clarence) Henriod of Ely, Nevada. Linda (Blake) Davis of Palisade, Colorado, Les (Nancy) Overson of Las Vegas, Nevada. and Karen (Larry) Niman of Spring Creek, Nevada.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Overson, her parents, Oliver and Clara Kabler and a brother, Gerald Kabler.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

So sorry to hear Aunt Betty’s passing. I’ve been having to get dad’s things in order after his death and so I started searching and I just found this today. My love and prayers go out to all y’all.
