Learning Bridge is proud to announce May’s focus teacher Jamie Lawrence. She is Learning Bridge’s sixth grade teacher.  She was born and raised in White Pine County, graduating from White Pine High School in 1995.  Jaime and her husband have six children.  She graduated from Great Basin College, Ely campus, with a degree in Education, May of 2007.

Lawrence, demonstrates her dedication, compassion, loyalty and organizational skills on daily basis.  The single most important quality that every teacher should possess is a love and passion for teaching young people, this describes Mrs. Lawrence.  She is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and the development of every child.

Mrs. Lawrence makes sure her students are in a comfortable structured atmosphere in order to learn effectively. Stability and predictability can help students feel secure.  Good organization can help a classroom run smoothly and productively. This is how Mrs.  Lawrence has motivates her students to grow, emotionally and educationally.

She has high expectations for her students.  She encourages her students to reach for the stars and not to settle for anything less than they are capable of accomplishing.

Lawrence’s students thrive because of her friendly, warm and non-threatening educational environment.

Learning Bridge students, staff and administration are very pleased that Mrs. Lawrence has chosen to join our family-friendly school community.  Thank you for all you do on a daily basis to make school an educational and enjoyable place.
