Kim Kammerer, Manager of Human Resources for Robinson Nevada Mining Company shakes hands with Amy Sorenson after donating a check for $3,200 to the Children’s Art festival outside of White Pine High School. Sorenson, pictured with her daughter Emma, is one of the organizers of the sixth annual art festival which will take place at WPHS in July. According to Sorenson, the donation from the mine will be used to bring in guest watercolor artist Jill Cook and eliminate fees for individual art classes. The festival is open for children in Kindergarten through eighth grade and will run from July 27-31.
