The White Pine County School District just concluded a successful session of Gifted and Talented/Summer School Programs at David E. Norman and McGill Elementary. Approximately 50 DEN students, six McGill students, and 24 Middle School students participated in the programs. The Gifted classes included: Missoula Children’s Theatre’s production of The Jungle Book, STEM, Shakespeare, Computers, and Cultures around the World, Music, Crazy Math, and the Art of Short Film. Summer school focused on credit reclamation for middle school students as well as ELA and math skills for elementary students. A big thank you goes out to the educators who participated beyond their normal school days including: Ms/Mr Gamberg, Gingell, Gonzalez, Jensen, Kelly, Lemback, Moore, Newman, Padilla, Petersen, Smith, Walker, Wilson, Allen, Bischoff, and Briggs. WPCSD is pleased to have offered these programs for the education of their students and thankful to serve the families of White Pine County.  An additional thank you goes to the families who supported the programs and their children’s participation in WPCSD’s fun offerings this summer!
