Did you know that all Nevada students in grades 6-12 have access to award-winning teaching at Leadership Academy of Nevada (LANV)? On May 5, 2014, the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) recognized Williamsburg Academy with their Platinum Award for Best Practices in Teaching, the most prestigious award they bestow. Williamsburg Academy is an online private-school affiliate of LANV. Both LANV and Williamsburg Academy receive their technology, curriculum, and professional development from Williamsburg Educational Services (WES), an Educational Management Organization (EMO). Students at LANV attend the same online classes with Williamsburg Academy students from all over the country and benefit from the same award-winning instructors and methods. This is one of the many facets of LANV that make this Nevada school a worthy and desirable option for parents who want their children to receive a great education.

LANV is an online/virtual public charter school with a mission to provide highly motivated and self- directed students with a classical education so they can become principled leaders. Founded in 2013 by a group of Nevada educators, professionals, and parents, LANV’s curriculum combines rigorous liberal arts courses, abundant training in technology, and a persistent emphasis on leadership. LANV is currently enrolling students in grades 6-12 throughout the state of Nevada.
