Louise was a great artist, quilter, loved to sing in the church choir, played the organ, enjoyed our Indian heritage in Ely. She fostered many children in her time. She was a great mother & grandmother .
She came back to McGill in the 80’s searching for her roots, and ended up loving the country. She stayed and bought the Ruby Motel, in Ely. Following worked with Marie Carrick in home Health.
She’s survived by her daughters Janet Goeringer of Ely, Nevada & Julie Bernardo of Sacramento California. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren, plus 11 great great-grandchildren.
Louise is preceded by her mother Stella Ovard, father Joe Diese, father of her children Sam Taylor, son Kirt Taylor, daughter Susan Taylor and had just lost a very close grandson, whom she raised Kirt Taylor Jr.
Her funeral will be on Aug. 8 th at 4:30, graveside service, Ely Nevada. We’d like to thank all of the home health care givers, who have been so great to my mom in the past 10 years. Her grandson Kirt Taylor, cared for her for the past four years in Las Vegas. After his premature death three months ago, she was taken to California and her granddaughters cared for her dearly. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Thank you to all the members, for their dedicated service to others.
