Lenora M. Leibold, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was born October 14, 1939 to Fred and Alice Lujan in Las Vegas, New Mexico and was raised in McGill, Nevada.
Lenora was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley; brother’s Barney and Fred Lujan; her parents and in-laws.
She was a wonderful and devoted wife and mother and is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Phil; her daughters, Julie McDonald and Rebecca Wittig; her sisters, Chris (Jim) Czaplewski and Teresa Douglas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lenora cherished her days growing up in McGill; she loved people and was an active contributor to the Ely Renaissance Society and the community. She loved the mountains, traveling, entertaining and she was the best cook on the planet. Lenora loved her family and friends with all of her heart. Lenora always looked forward to spending summers with Phil at their home in Ely and winters in Henderson.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway Las Vegas, NV at 3:00pm.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held for Lenora at the Ely Renaissance Village on October 17th, 2015.
So sad for me to hear about Lenora. The Lujan family lived a few houses down from us on B Ave. Our condolences to the family. She was a beautiful person.
So sorry to hear of your loss, I loved the childhood day’s of spending the summers with your family when you came up from Vegas with Becky & Julie. So sorry for your loss. Lenora was such a lovely person. I enjoyed seeing her at the Farmers Market each year. She will be missed by many.
