David E. Norman participates in their annual Lap Run with a twist this year. Since DEN has become a Leader in Me School, the RUN became a relay in which students practiced in and discussed the seven Habits of Highly Effective People. They cleaned the playground, set goals to ensure the whole team was successful, worked together and more. With each habit the team members RAN for a ribbon which they tied on the playground fence. We now have a DEN PROUD fence to display our efforts. A big thank you goes to PTO, parents, teacher, students, Boy Scouts of America, and community members who made this day a success.
