Learning Bridge Charter School

The Learning Bridge Charter School would like to acknowledge and thank all the student volunteers from the months of August and September that participated and helped with community events. Learning Bridge is applying the” Leader in Me” philosophy to ensure students understand how important it is to be a leader in their school and community.  The following student volunteers volunteered by serving and cleaning the Cattlewomen’s/Fire Department Fair Barbecue. Students were also asked to serve and clean up after the Antique Chevrolet Conclave held in White Pine County.

The Learning Bridge band volunteered to be part of the McGill Labor Day Parade and over 30 charter school students participated in the Silver State Classic Parade; thanks to all of our student volunteers.

A special thanks goes out to: Odessa Stewart and Shaylinn Masestes, who volunteered in the after school program helping younger students with the reading process; Armondo Rosales Valentin for greeting parents and visitors who come into the school each morning; and Morgan Finicum for participating as a volunteer with the Great Basin Public Lands Day at the end of September.
