The McGill library is having its yearly Fall Festival on Oct. 16 from 3-5 p.m. We will be having games and crafts for the kids, along with walking tacos for everyone to make. We send a special invitation to all McGill Grade School kids to come and join us, and bring your parents, so they can have fun too. We will also have soda and candy for sale.

The library will be open for checking out books as well. The McGill library is located inside the McGill Senior Center at the top of Ave. K.

Just a reminder, the first grade class comes to the library on the third Wednesday of each month during the school year. We welcome volunteers who want to come read to the first graders, have them read to you, or help with arts and crafts projects we do with the kids. Come share your love of reading with the next generation.

The library is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. and most Friday’s from 4-6 p.m. with a story hour from 4-5 p.m. The library is an all-volunteer group, so if you want to give some of your time to help others find great books to read, come in and talk to one of our volunteers and we will sign you up. We also have free wifi for anyone who wants to come in during our regular hours.
