Kay Veone Monson Carson Dallon left this earth after many years of suffering from Cirrhosis of the liver, on October 12, 2015 to return to her Heavenly Father and those who have gone before her. She was born to Conard M. Monson and Agnes Veone Sorensen on September 25, 1939, in Spring City, Utah.
She grew up in McGill, Nevada and married her high school sweetheart Boyd D. Carson on March 2, 1957. Together they brought three beautiful boys to their family, Bradey D., Kendall Boyd, and Cory Dale. They were sealed in the St. George Temple on May 28, 1965.
Kay loved being with all her boys, crafting, reading, working in the garden, camping, playing cards, laughing, and spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in multiple callings within the church.
After Boyd died, Kay reacquainted with a former boss Frank Dallon at a funeral of a mutual friend. They were married shortly after on April 9, 2005 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.
She was preceded in death by her parents Conard and Agnes Monson, son Cory Dale Carson, her husband Boyd D. Carson, and granddaughter Ashlea Christine Lytle.
She is survived by her husband Frank Dallon of Sandy, Utah, sons Bradey (Connie) of Richfield, Utah, Kendall (Mary Jean) of St. George, Utah. Grand children Stephanie (Tyrell) Bangerter, Amanda (Jeron) Shaw, Kadin Carson, Tyler Carson and Lisa Carson. Six great-grand-children, a brother Bruce (Roselyn) Monson, two nieces Rikki Monson, and Mindy (Gary) Shaw, Lynn Carson brother-in-law, and Viola Carson a sister-in-law.
Kay was a very special person and touched many hearts through out her life. She will be missed but her legacy of friendship, love and laughter will live on.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ely City Cemetery.
