Marilyn Tallman, 73, of Ely Nevada A beloved wife, mother, grandmother great grand mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend completed her life journey and returned home to her Heavenly Father on October 14th 2015.
Her beautiful spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her the most, her husband of 56 years Glen Tallman and her three daughters Kathy (Chub) Welch, Diana (Harold) Robertson and Cheryl (Jack) Reich. She had 5 grandchildren; Jason Welch, Regina Williams, Cherish Smith, Kayla Reich, and Kyle Robertson as well as six great-grandsons; Conner Weaver, Cason Weaver, Preston Welch, Easton Welch, Bryson Conn and Chance Conn.
Marilyn showed her love by crafting and making things with her hands, little labors of love that have turned into treasured memories for her family. She would make quilts and crochet and every Christmas she would send hand made ornaments to her entire family. Even though her loving hands are no longer with us her legacy lives on in the hands of her three daughters, and her love and wonderful sense of humor will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her..
Our Family Quilt
Our family is a patchwork quilt a lifetime being seen, each piece is an original with beauty of all its own.
The brightest patches may be new and get the most attention but the pieces that are loved and worn give our quilt dimension.Threads of humor, faith and love will keep our quilt together to last in love throughout the years and wrap us close forever.
Marilyn will continue to live in our memories of being a friend at school, next door neighbor, where we shared our daughters back and forth. Glen our sympathies at your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. May your mother rest in peace. She is in a great place with God. Love you, Judy Kay
We have many fond memories of Marilyn too. When we moved to California. We were at her house a lot. She always had the coffee pot on or invited us for a meal. I think the funniesttime was when she broke up Lee and Merlyn squabbling get with a wooden spoon. Yvonne and Lee Smith.
We will miss you. Glad that the test is over and you are not suffering anymore. We treasure the handiwork you have shared with us these many years. Happy reunion on the other side with your parents and siblings who was waiting for you!
