Nollette, Iryl high school1Iryl B. Nollette (Pete) 80, passed away on November 7, 2015 from an ongoing illness. He was born January 12, 1935 in Ely, NV to Pete and Mary (Hesselgesser) Nollette. He graduated White Pine High School in 1953. Then went on to serve our country, in the Navy, from 1954 through 1958.

Pete was well known for his masonry work and was a prominent person at Sunset Lanes Bowling Alley. He was always willing to help anyone in need at anytime.

He married his first love, Carol (Cracraft) Cottrell, in 1958. Together they had 3 children Mike, Melodee, and Malinda. They later divorced in 1975. He worked as a master bricklayer since April 1964 through the 1990’s.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Ephram (Pete) and Mary (Hesselgesser) Nollette; Sisters Ruth (Wayne) Knighten, Doris (Bill) Varney, and his second love Margaret Baker. He is survived by his brother, Oren (Fran) Nollette. His children Mike, Melodee, and Malinda; stepchildren Cheryl Rackley and John Baker; Grandchildren Mike W. Nollette, Susie (Joe) Ward, Katie and Christopher Robinson, Tara, Teela, and Nickalas Earl, and  Ivana Rackley. Plus numerous great grandchildren.

Services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Lung Association in Pete Nollette’s name.

He will be missed by many.
