On Sunday 11-15-15 our beautiful Mother lost her battle with cancer. She is finally out of pain! Like her Norwegian heritage (A true warrior to the end.) Born to Leonard and Edna (Evans) Hall on 5-26-34 in Ely, Nevada where she met and married Ward Judd in 1951. They had 4 children Alan – Ron – Alona – Paul (Angie). We lost our brother Alan to this Terrible Cancer on 7-28-03. “She never fully recovered from this loss”. They can now be reunited again! She was exposed to the Atomic testing (Down Winder’s) that our government exposed many to! This undoubtedly led to her demise. We can only be relieved that she no longer is suffering. We thank all the people that were able to visit and send their love to this wonderful woman! She was loved by many, and this world lost a great person. She is survived by her husband Ward L. Judd, her sister Elain (Hall) Gass, her children Ron, Alona, and Paul. Preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Edna Hall, her brother Richard (Dick) Hall, and son Alan Judd. As per her wishes there will be no services. Her ashes will be joined with Alan in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, near Fruitland Utah. And a celebration of her life will be set at a later date.
Marilyn Hall-Judd

I was a classmate of Marilyn having graduated in May 1952, Marilyn always took the time to say hello. I worked at the Nevada Test Site in 1961 for six months – so far so good. As a parting thought – when my mother died in 1984 – one of my supervisors reminded me to remember the good times with my Mother. Mothers are very important to her children. I live in Minden, Nevada. My family lived in McGill and my father – Harold Ley – worked for KCC.
