With less than a month left to enroll for 2016 coverage, Nevada Health Link is once again collaborating with licensed insurance brokers and agents throughout the Silver State for an enrollment event from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15. It will be the last day to enroll for coverage that starts on Feb. 1. Nevadans will have access to convenient, one-on-one meetings with professionals who will guide them through the application process, eligibility requirements, and health care plan options.

The enrollment period for health insurance began November 1 and continues through Jan. 31, 2016. Many licensed broker agents who have partnered with Nevada Health Link will also be open on various Tuesdays, Thursdays and “Sign-Up” Saturdays during the enrollment period. Consumers who enroll between January 16, 2016, and January 31, 2016, which is the end of the open enrollment period, will not have coverage until March 1, 2016.

It is recommended that individuals answer a list of pre-screening questions here to determine qualification for free or reduced medical coverage.  Applicants must provide various documents to enroll, including proof of residency, proof of income, valid identification card and proof of U.S. citizenship.
