Report of an ambulance assist—Officer assisted the ambulance with an individual who needed to be transported to the E.R.

Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that she had the windows replaced in her home and left the old windows next to her house. Reporting party stated that someone had taken the old windows. Investigation continues.

Report of a reckless driver—Officer located the operator of the vehicle and issued her several citations for traffic violations that he observed.

Report of a bad check—Reporting party stated that her place of employment had received a check for payment of services, but the check was returned for non-sufficient funds. The reporting party was advised on the proper procedures that needed to take place before law enforcement could take action.

Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that someone had stolen her medication from her home. Investigation continues.

Report of a domestic disturbance—Officer contacted the parties involved who stated that they had been involved in a verbal argument. The parties involved separated for the night.

Report of a suspicious vehicle—Officer contacted the operator of the vehicle and reported that he was looking for an address of a home. No crime had occurred.

Report of a domestic battery—Officer received a report of a domestic battery that had occurred. During the officers investigation Rita M. Wooldridge age 36 of Ely was arrested for domestic battery #3. She is accused of battering her spouse

Report of a fraud—Reporting party stated that he was involved in a sexual conversation with an individual over the internet and the other party involved indicated that she had recorded it. The other party then demanded money from the reporting party or she would post it on the internet. The reporting party sent the money, but the other party involved them demanded more. The reporting party was advised it was a scam and to remove all his social networks on the internet.

Report of an accident—Irene L. Lopez of Ely was operating a vehicle traveling on 10th street. As she came to the intersection of Ave I she was unable to stop at the stop sign due to ice road conditions. She slid through the intersection striking a vehicle being operated by Dustin D. Gledhill of Ely. An accident report was completed.

Report of a parking violation—Reporting party stated that a vehicle was parked in the roadway. Officer reported that the vehicle was removed.

Report of an accident—Levi A. Whittaker a juvenile of Ely was operating a vehicle traveling on Bobcat Drive. Whittaker lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions and traveling too fast for road conditions. He then struck a vehicle belonging to Carolyn V. Stone of Ely. An accident report was completed and Whittaker was issued a citation for Due care.

Report of a suspicious vehicle—Officer received a report of a vehicle that had been left in a remote area for several days. The area was patrolled, but the vehicle was not located.

Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that she had lost her cell phone and was having a hard time getting the phone disconnected. Officer reported that it appears someone was using the phone. Reporting party contacted the cellular provider and the phone was disconnected.

Report of a juvenile problem—Reporting party stated that his juvenile daughter was not at home when she should be. The juvenile was located and she returned home.

Report of a welfare check—The individual was contacted and was fine.

Report of a possible drunk driver—Officer reported that the individual was located at her home and she hadn’t been driving.

Report of a suspicious subject—The area was patrolled, but the person was not located.

Report of a possible prowler—Reporting party stated that she awoke from her sleep and thought someone was in her home. The home was checked and no one was located.

Report of a dog at large—The dog was captured and taken to the City Dog Pound.

Report of an alarm—Officer contacted the occupant of the apartment who had burned her dinner.

Report of a welfare check—The individual was contacted and she was fine.

Report of a reckless driver—Officer contacted the operator of the vehicle who was having problems keeping his vehicle in its lane of travel due to icy road conditions.

Report of a missing juvenile—Officer reported that the juvenile was located and she returned home.

Report of a problem with a landlord—Reporting party stated that her landlord is constantly watching her and believes he has entered into her home when she was gone. Officer spoke to the landlord who denied the allegation. He advised the reporting party is several months behind on rent and that he will be evicting her.

Report of an alarm—False alarm.

Report of harrassment—Reporting party stated that she is receiving unwanted telephone calls from an individual and there has been several occasions where the person involved has used rude qesters towards her. Officer contacted the parties involved who gave conflicting statements pertaining to who was at fault. The parties involved were advised to stay away from each other.

Report of a dog bite—Reporting party stated that her dogs had gotten into a fight and when she was separating them she got bite. The reporting party received medical attention at the hospital.

Report of an agency assist—Officer assisted D.C.F.S. on a home visit. No problems were reported.

Report of a domestic disturbance—Officer contacted the parties involved who were arguing over one of them moving out. They were advised to keep the peace.

Report of an accident—Kadi Finicum, of Ely, struck a parked vehicle.  A report was completed.

Report of a theft—The reporting party claimed someone stole her iPad while she was at a hotel in Las Vegas.  A courtesy report was completed.

Report of an accident—Max Kerr, of Ely, slid in the snow and struck a parked vehicle.  A report was completed.

Report of a welfare check—The subjects were not located.

Report of an arrest—48 year old Ely resident, Michael Todd Kalleres, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Report of a problem with a subject—The reporting party complained that a male subject was plowing snow into her fence.  The subject was contacted and agreed to move the snow.

Report of an accident—Steven Campbell, of Ely, slid while plowing and struck a parked vehicle.  A report was completed.

Report of an accident—Mary Ward, of McGill, was backing from a private drive, started sliding on the ice, and struck a parked vehicle.  A report was completed.

Report of an intoxicated driver—Officers were unable to locate the suspected driver.

Report of an accident—Tyler Harmon, of Ely, was preparing to turn when his vehicle was struck from behind by Andrea Banks, of Reno.  Banks was unable to stop due to road conditions.  A report was completed.

Report of suspicious circumstances—The reporting party believed his neighbor was harassing him. The report was unfounded.

Report of an arrest—23 year old Hesston Allen Bradley was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Report of a parking problem—Officer reported that the operator of the vehicle was contacted and the vehicle was moved.

Report of vandalism—Reporting party stated that someone has scratched her car while it was parked in a parking lot. A report was completed.

Report of threats — Reporting party stated that an individual was making rude comments towards him. Officer is attempting to locate the other party involved.

Report of a suspicious subject — Officer located the individual who was intoxicated and walking down the roadway wearing one shoe. The individual was taken to E.R. for medical assistance.

Report of a motorist assist—Officer received a report of a vehicle that was broke down in the roadway. Officer reported that the vehicle was moved from the roadway.

REPORT OF A SNOW PROBLEM

City — reporting party stated that the snow from his neighbors building was falling into his driveway. The incident was documented.

City — officer made contact with several individuals who were arguing over the placement of snow. Officer reported that the City of Ely was contacted to assist in the removal of the snow.

REPORT OF A RECKLESS DRIVER

Officer contacted the operator of the vehicle and advised him of the complaint. He denied the allegation.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

Reporting party stated that his neighbor came to his home complaining about a friend parking in the alleyway. Officer advised the friend not to park in the alleyway. Officers then made contact with the neighbor. He was advised to maintain a civil demeanor when contacting people about problems he might have.

City — reporting party stated that an individual was posting rude things about her on Face Book. Officer is attempting to locate the individual and speak to her about the postings.

REPORT OF A TRESPASSER

City — reporting party stated that a vehicle is stuck on his private driveway. The operator of the vehicle was contacted and advised to remove his vehicle and he was trespassed from the area.

Report of a domestic violence—Officer received a report of a domestic battery that had taken place. During the officers investigation Rebecca A. Klippert age 44 of Ruth was arrested. She was arrested for domestic battery # 2 and interfering with a telecommunication device. She is accused of battering her husband and not allowing him to use the phone to call the Sheriff’s Office.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that an individual keeps coming to her apartment and bothering her. Officer contacted the individual and advised her she was not allowed to go to the reporting parties apartment.

Report of a snow problem — Reporting party stated that a local business hadn’t cleaned the snow off its sidewalks. The business was contacted and advised to remove the snow.

Report of an intoxicated pedistrian—Officer contacted the person and advised that  no assistance was needed.

Report of a violation of a court order— Officer received a report of an individual who had violated a protective order. During the officers investigation Patricia H. Colville age 47 of Ely was arrested. She was arrested for violation of a temporary protective order.

Report of a vehicle off the roadway—Officer located the vehicle that had slid off the roadway. The vehicle was secure and no occupants were located.

Report of an open door—Oficer received a report of a door that was open on a tractor trailer. The area was patrolled, but the vehicle was not located.

Report of a bad check—Reporting party stated that an individual had paid for services with a check. The check had been returned due to insufficient funds. Officer collected the check and it will be turned over to the City Attorney for prosecution or collections.

Report of a parking problem— When officers arrived the vehicle had already left the area.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that an employee was causing a disturbance at work so she terminated him. The employee was contacted and trespassed from the property.

Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that someone had entered into her home and stole her medication. Investigation continues.

Report of a child home alone—Officer received a report of a child who was left home alone. Officer reported that an adult was located in the home who was caring for the child.

Report of a fraud—Reporting party stated that he received a phone call and the caller advised him he would be charged several dollars for accepting the call. The reporting party was advised to contact his phone provider and report the incident.
