Report of an arrest—Officer reported that Gustavo Diaz age 52 of Los Angeles, CA was arrested of illegally parking a vehicle on a roadway.

Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that someone had entered into his motor home and stole several items. Investigation continues.

Report of a reckless driver—The report was given to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Report of an agency assist—Officer assisted Juvenile Probation on a juvenile problem.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that her boyfriend had threatened her. The incident was documented.

Report of a possible trespasser—Reporting party stated that someone was inside his vacant home. The home was checked and no one was located.

Report of a juvenile problem—Reporting party stated that several juveniles were damaging some property in an alleyway. The area was patrolled, but no problems were located.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that he went to a friend’s home and while there he was threatened by an individual. Officer contacted the parties involved and advised them to stay away from each other.

Report of a fire—Officer contacted several juveniles who had been playing with a lighter and had set some grass on fire. The juveniles and their parents were contacted and a report was sent to Juvenile Probation.

Report of a juvenile problem—Reporting party stated that several juvenile girls were loitering around her place of business. The area was patrolled, but no juvenile were located.

Report of a suspicious vehicle—Officer located the vehicle and reported that no crime had occurred.

Report of an open door—Officer located an open door on a vacant home. The home was checked and the door secured.

Report of a juvenile problem—Officer received a report of a juvenile who had inappropriately touched another juvenile. Contact was made with the juvenile along with his parent. Investigation continues.

Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that they had a friend over for dinner and during their contact with him they believe he stole some money. Officer investigated the incident and reported that no evidence of the theft was determined. An individual involved in the incident was identified as Antonio A. Frazier age 40 of Venice Beach, CA. Frazier was arrested on a Clark County warrant for contempt of court.

Report of a juvenile problem—Reporting party stated that she had an argument with her son the previous day.  She then advised he spent the night at a friend’s home without her permission. The incident was documented and a report was sent to Juvenile probation.

Report of a welfare check—The individual was contacted and was fine.

Report of a dog at large—Reporting party stated that a dog was chasing his chickens. Officer reported that the owner of the dog was out of the Ely area, but when he returns he will be issued a citation for dog at large.

Report of a child left at school—Reporting party stated that the mother of a child failed to pick her child up after school. Officer located the mother who had fallen asleep and forgot to pick the child up. The child was taken home to the mother.

Report of a trespasser—Reporting party stated that several individals were in her home without her permission. Officer contacted the individuals in her home and advised them of the reporting party’s request.

Report of a medical assist—Officer assisted with an individual who was threatening suicide. The individual was taken to E.R. for medical assistance.

Report of a scam—Reporting party stated that she received a phone from an individual claiming that a family member had been involved in an accident and needed money. The reporting party was advised it was a scam and to discontinue her contact with the caller.

Report of threats—Reporting party stated that several individuals where spreading rumors about him saying he was going to harm some family members. The reporting party wanted the incident documented.  A report was completed.

Report of suspicious mail—Reporting party stated that he keeps receiving mail that doesn’t belong to him. He was advised to contact the sender of the mail and advise the company to stop sending it to his address.

Report of a domestic dispute—The polemic parties were contacted and it was only a quibble.

Report of a problem with a subject—Two small children were reportedly left unattended in a parked motor vehicle.  The officer checked the area, but the vehicle was gone.

Report of littering—The reporting party claimed several people have been dumping their refuse in an area not designated for dumping.  The area was documented and the investigation continues.

Report of a domestic disturbance—The eristic parties were contacted and found it was but a quarrel.

Report of property damage—The reporting party said she was advised her home in Ely had been damaged.  The officer observed the fence to be damaged.  A report was completed.

Report of an unattended death—Patrick Barela passed away at his home due to medical issues.

Report of a problem with a subject—The reporting party claimed to have a valid protection order against another person, and that person’s vehicle was parked in front of her residence.  The area was checked, but the other party was not located.

Report of an arrest— A deputy observed a vehicle strick a utility pole, and then left the area.  A traffic stop was conducted and the deputy spoke to the driver, identified as 35 year old Ely resident Jason Henry Anderson.  Anderson was later arrested for duty to give info and driving under the influence.

Report of a theft—The reporting party claimed to have observed someone stealing his property.  The area was searched, but neither the suspect nor the reporting party could be found.

Report of a scam—Reporting party stated that she received a phone call from an individual claiming to be an insurance salesman. The reporting party gave the caller her personal information the caller then disconcerted the call. The reporting party was advised it was a scam and to contact her banking establishment and advise them to monitor her account.

Report of a suspicious vehicle—Officer reported that the operator of the vehicle was contacted and no crime had occurred

Report of a violation of a court order—Reporting party stated that an individual was violation a protective order. Officer investigated the incident and reported that no violation had occurred.

Report of an agency assist—Officer assisted the Animal Control Officer reference issuing a citation.

Report of a dog that attacked a cat—The report was given to the Animal Control Officer.

Report of found guns—Reporting party stated that she was cleaning a vacant home and located several firearms. The firearms were collected and the owner will be contacted.

Report of found luggage—Reporting party located a suitcase laying near a roadway. Officer located information inside the suitcase indicating who the owner was. The owner was contacted and the suitcase was returned.

Report of a reckless driver—The area was patrolled, but the vehicle was not located.

Report of a problem with a landlord—Reporting party stated that her landlord keeps coming into her place of business or calling them on the phone causing a disturbance. The landlord was contacted and the parties involved resolved their differences.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that there landlord came into the business and caused a disturbance. Officer reported that the landlord was issued a citation for disturbing the peace.

Report of a barking dog—The owner of the dog was contacted and advised of the complaint.

Report of a death—Officer reported that Perry Miller age 59 of McGill died at his residence of natural causes.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that an individual was causing a disturbance at a local bar. When officers arrived they observed the individual fleeing the bar. He was not located.

Report of a problem with a subject—Officer received a report of an individual sleeping in a vehicle and she would not wake up. Officer contacted the individual along with emergency medical personnel. The individual stated that she was fine.

Report of a domestic disturbance—Officer contacted the parties involved and reported that two brothers had engaged in a verbal argument. They were advised to keep the peace.

Report of a domestic disturbance—Officer reported that no one would answer the door at the residence where the disturbance was taking place. Officer reported that no disturbance was observed.

Report of an arrest—Officer reported that Lorenzo A. Enriquez age 36 of Ely was arrested on an Ely Municipal Court warrant. During his arrest he was found in possession of heroin, and methamphetamine. He was then arrested on several other drug related charges.

Report of a found wallet—The wallet was returned to the owner.

Report of an accident—The report was given to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Report of an accident—Officer reported that the parties exchanged information and no law enforcement action was requested.

Report of a reckless driver—The area was patrolled, but the vehicle was not located.

Report of an open window on a vaunt home—Officer reported that the air conditioner had fallen out of the window. The window was secured and no other problems were reported.

Report of an arrest—Officer reported that Russell L. Bainbridge age 25 of Ely was arrested on a Pahranagat Valley Justice Court warrant.

Report of an intoxicated pedistrian—Officer contacted the individual and reported that she was walking home.

Report of a fight—Officer contacted the parties involved who stated that they were just wrestling. They were advised to keep the peace.

REPORT OF POSSIBLE DRUG USE

City — officer received a report of possible drug use at a local motel. During the officers investigation several subjects fled the area. They were later apprehended and identified as Ray A. Chavez age 47 of Barstow CA., Brenda L. Rodriguez  age 40 of Hinkley CA. and Brian S. Inkenbrandt age 52 of Victorville, CA. All three subjects were taken into custody and charges were filled accordingly.

City — officer contacted the parties involved who were picking up a four wheeler.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT

City — the area was patrolled, but the person was not located.

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM

Reporting party stated that several children were teasing her dog. She stated she yelled at the children and one of the children’s parents then came to her home and confronted her. All the parties involved were advised to stay away from each other.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

Officer contacted the parties involved who gave conflicting statements about what they were fighting over. The parties involved separated for the night.

REPORT OF THREATS

City — officer received a report of a juvenile who had been threatened by another juvenile. All the parties along with their guardians were contacted and advised of the problem. A report was sent to Juvenile Probation.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

Officer contacted the parties involved who had argued over an unwanted house guest. The house guest left and the other parties involved were advised to keep the peace.

Report of a juvenile problem—Officer received a report of a juvenile who had brought a knife to school. The juvenile was contacted and the knife was taken from his possession. The juvenile was released to his parent. A report was sent to Juvenile Probation.

Report of a problem with a subject— Reporting party stated that she was almost hit by a vehicle while crossing the street in a crosswalk. Officer reported that the driver was identified and she will be issued a citation for failure to yield for a pedestrian.

Report of drug paraphenaila—Reporting party stated that an individual had located a marijuana pipe and had given it to him. The pipe was collected and destroyed.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that her neighbor walks by her home and stares at her. Officer advised that no crime had occurred.

Report of an arrest—Officer reported that during a traffic stop Lawrence D. Stewart age 68 of Ruth was arrested. Stewart was arrested for license plate improperly displayed and driving on a cancelled license. He was also arrested on a Washoe County Justice Court warrant.

Report of littering—Officer received a report of an individual who had dumped some garbage in a ravine. Officer contacted the individual and had her clean up the garbage.

Report of a problem with a subject—Reporting party stated that he went to his ex-girlfriend’s home to pick up his children which he has in common with her, but she has moved from the area. Officer investigated the incident and reported that the ex-girlfriend had possibly moved out of state. The incident was documented.

Report of a reckless driver—The area was patrolled, but the vehicle was not located.

Report of a suspicious subject—Officer contacted the individual who was checking on a residence for a family member.

Report of an alarm—False alarm.

Report of a civil problem—Reporting party stated that friend was allowed to borrow his vehicle, but he wants the vehicle returned. Officer contacted the parties involved and the vehicle was returned to the rightful owner.
