Twenty three students from elementary to high school age participated by presenting their cowboy poetry written by them. The winner from each group: Elementary, Middle School and High School received a Chrome Book. The Chrome Books were sponsored by Business Continuity Technologies, Jailhouse Motel & Casino and Chachas John A. Insurance (Farmers Insurance). Emily Moore from McGill Elementary, Andrew Young from White Pine Middle School and Krista Wagley from SSCS took the top spots with the judges. Bridget Bath-Barney, Kathy Tucker and John Charchalis were the judges for the event. “We owe a big thank you to our sponsors, Richard Elloyan and Steve Wade and our judges for their support of the event. We hope to see this event grow more each year” said Lori Romero, Library Director.
