Carson City, NV – The Nevada Educations Savings Account (ESA) application enrollment period opened again on Sunday, May 1st. The application is available on the Treasurer’s Office website: http://www.nevadatreasurer.gov/SchoolChoice/Home/

Certified mail is recommended, as proof that our office has received the application. All applications will be date stamped upon receipt. PLEASE NOTE: Applications must be received IN our office by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30th. This is NOT a postmark deadline. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.
Nevada State Treasurer Dan Schwartz said, “The Treasurer’s Office continues to receive countless emails and calls concerning the ESA program, not to mention over 5,000 applications that we now have on file. Since the inception of the program, parents have continued to demonstrate the desire for educational choice for their children. We hope that the courts make a decision soon, so that parents may get the answers they seek and guidance on how to proceed with the academic plans for the upcoming school year.”
