White Pine County Library received grant funds from the E. L. Cord Foundation and the Great Basin Heritage Area Partnership to purchase new microfilm equipment and software. The new software and equipment offers enhancements for searching information and options for printing/saving the information. This was a $12,290 project with $10,000 coming from the E. L. Cord Foundation, $1,500 from the Great Basin Heritage Area Partnership and $790 from the County Assessor. This new setup is a great asset to those performing research.
