MAY 3
Report of a trespasser—Reporting party stated that an individual had returned to her place of employment after the individual had been trespassed from the property. Officer contacted the individual and issued her a citation for trespassing.
Report of littering—Reporting party stated that someone had dumped several bags of garbage near his residence. Officer reported that the items were collected and disposed of.
Report of property damage—Reporting party stated that someone had kicked a door on a local business. The incident was documented.
Report of juvenile problem—Officer received a report of several juveniles who were involved in mischievous conduct. Investigation continues.
Report of an intoxicated person in the roadway—Officer located the individual who was intoxicated and laying on the roadway. Officer identified him as Todd W. Stewart age 51. Stewart was arrested for intoxicated person in a roadway.
Report of property damage—Reporting party stated that someone had spray painted the tires on her vehicle. The incident was documented.
Report of an arrest—Officer reported that Stacy A. Colville age 51 of Ruth was arrested for D.U.I. drugs, under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving suspended.
Report of a juvenile problem—Reporting party stated that another juvenile had damaged her juvenile son’s bike. Officer is attempting to identify the juvenile responsible for the damage.
Report of possible gun shots—The area was patrolled, but nothing was located.
Report of fireworks—Officer patrolled the area, but was unable to locate where they had come from.
Report of a person selling drugs—Officer contacted the individual and reported that no problems were located.

MAY 4
Report of an arrest—A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and spoke to the driver, identified as 58 year old Canadian Randy Kulak.  Kulak was later arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance.
Report of an intoxicated person— The vehicle was located, and the driver was found to not be under the influence.
Report of a shotlifter—A local store employee advised they had video of an unknown person shoplifting merchandise.  The investigation continues.
Report of a theft—The reporting party claimed someone entered her residence and stole personal items sometime during the last week.  The investigation continues.
Report of problem with a subject—The reporting party claimed a family member was attempting to hurt themselves.  The subject was located and later transported to the hospital for treatment.
Report of a fight—Several people were reported fighting.  When officers arrived, several subjects had already fled the area.  Officers were unable to locate the other subjects involved.
Report of a theft—The reporting party claimed a family member had stolen from him.  The reporting party later said he wanted to talk to the family member before law enforcement proceeded with an investigation.
Report of a welfare check—The subject called and said they were fine.

Report of a welfare check—The subject was located and appeared cared for.
Report of a disturbance—The reporting party claimed a neighbor was screaming at someone.  It was discovered the suspect was yelling at a phone operator over a mishandled bill.
Report of a welfare check—The subject was located and claimed to be fine.
Report of lost property—The reporting party claimed to have lost a gun while traveling the rural back roads of the county.
Report of a suspicious vehicle— The reporting party observed a male she thought was suspicious, walking between an apartment complex and a local business.  The area was checked, but the male was gone when officers arrived.
Report of a welfare check—The subject was located and claimed to be fine.
Report of an ATV disturbance—The vehicle was gone prior to officer arrival.
Report of suspicious circumstances—The reporting party claimed to have heard someone yelling for help.  Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate anyone needing assistance.

Report of property damage—Reporting party stated that someone had tipped over her planter causing damage. Officer assisted in repairing the planter and putting it back into its proper place.
Report of a welfare check—Officer contacted the mother and child and reported that they were fine.
Report of a domestic disturbance—Officer contacted the parties involved who gave conflicting statements on what had occurred. The parties involved separated for the day.
Report of an accident—George Carnes of Ely was operating a vehicle making a left hand turn off Aultman Street. As he did so he failed to yield to a vehicle being operated by Philip Ingalls of Ely. Carnes vehicle struck Ingalls vehicle causing damage. An accident report was completed and Carnes was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.
Report of an alarm—False alarm.
Report of a dog bite—Officer received a report of a dog that had bitten a child. Officer reported that the owner of the dog was issued a citation and the child received medical attention at the E.R.
Report of an arrest—Officer reported that during a traffic stop Jack Greene Jr. age 43 of McGill was arrested for failure to yield right of way, no insurance, license plate improperly displayed and possession of methamphetamine.

Report of a prowler—The area was patrolled, but no problems were reported.
Report of an arrest—Officer reported that Elroy Mike age 57 of Ely was arrested for failure to maintain lane of travel and felony D.U.I.
Report of a suspicious subject—Officer contacted the individual and reported that no crime had occurred. The individual was collecting rocks.
Report of an alarm—False alarm.
Report of a juvenile problem—Officer contacted the juvenile who was being disrespectful to her parents. She was advised to follow her parent’s rules.
Report of a found hypodermic needle—The item was collected and destroyed.
Report of identification theft—Reporting party stated that a while ago her identity had been stolen. The reporting party wanted it on report. The incident was documented.
Report of an unattended child left in a vehicle—Officer located the child who had been sleeping inside a car. The mother was contacted and warned about leaving a child unattended. D.C.F.S. was contacted and advised of the problem.
Report of a problem with a subject—Officer received a report of a problem between two individuals who were arguing over payment for a putting up campaign signs. The individuals were contacted and the situation was resolved.
Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that someone had entered into her car and stole her wallet. A report was completed.
Report of cruelty to animals—Officer received a report of several horses who were without food or water. The owner of the horses was contacted and she was issued a citation for cruelty to animals.
Report of an arrest—Officer reported that Chan’en Ingle age 23 of Ely was arrested for operating an unregistered vehicle, head lamps required, and possession of a controlled substance/ Bail $15,000.

MAY 8
Report of a suspicious subject—Reporting party stated that several people were wandering around a local residence with flashlights. Officer contacted the individuals who were there to pick up a washing machine.
Report of suspicious activity— Reporting party stated that someone had entered into his home, slept in his bed and ate some of his food. Officer reported that no suspects were located.
Report of a dog problem—Reporting party stated that their neighbors allow their dog to run at large. Officer located the dog and placed him back into a fenced area. The owner of the dog was not at home and will be contacted at a later date.
Report of an arrest—Officer reported while attempting to make contact with an individual the individual fled from him. During a search of a motel room where the individual was staying officers located several items of drug paraphernalia and several items of a controlled substance. Officer located the person who had fled and identified him as Isaac M. Wheeler age 22 of Ely. Wheeler was arrested for obstructing a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin and possession of a dangerous drug. Officer reported another individual was located inside the motel room. She was identified as Alexis Sandoval- Amparano age 21 of Ely. She was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, and possession of a dangerous drug.

MAY 9
Report of suspicious activity—Officer received a report of several individuals who were taking things out a residence. The area was patrolled, but no one was located.
Report of possible shots fired—The area was patrolled, but nothing was located.
Report of property damage—Reporting party stated that someone had removed the bolts to the landing gear on his trailer. He stated that when he was attempting to hook up to the trailer it fell to the ground. The incident was documented.
Report of a violation of a protective order—Officer received a report of an individual who had violated a protective order. During the officers investigation Karen Sprouse age 75 of Ely was arrested. She is accused of violating the protective order.
Report of a shoplifter—Officer received a report of an individual who had removed an item from a local store without paying for it. Officer contacted the individual and identified him as a local juvenile. The juvenile was detained and later released to his father. A report was sent to Juvenile Probation.
Report of a theft—Reporting party stated that while she was at work someone stole her cell phone from her work station. Investigation continues.
