Glenda P. deCarbonel, 76, of Ely, Nev., passed away Nov. 25, 2015, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born May 9, 1939 in Ely to Harold and Vivian Jacaway.
Glenda enjoyed scrap booking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved traveling with her husband, Mike, who was the love of her life and was missed dearly.
Glenda is survived by her children, Vickey (John) Whitmore of Wendover, Nev., Robin (Alan) Griffith of Ely, Cindy (Garth) Decker of Parowan, Utah, Richard Sanford of Reno, Nev., Deborah (Leo) Richardson of Fresno, Calif. and Robert Sanford of Reno, Nev.; 20 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; siblings Joyce Hoffeman, Donnie Jacaway, Jeanie Gersner, Gary Jacaway, Gloria Johnson and Penny Link and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mike deCarbonel, daughter Tamera Meadows, grandsons Derek Valdez and Logan Sanford and two brothers Lauren Jacaway and Doyle Jacaway.
Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, June 13 2016 at 1 p.m. at Mountain Vista Chapel. Interment to follow in the Ely City Cemetery.
So sorry about you losing your mom. But now there’s no more pain and she is with your dad again. She may not be with u so u can see her, but she’ssalways close by your side. You girls and other siblings are a great testament of how great your mom was. And will continue to be as long as u r alive.love u guys and I’m very proud to be related to u.
