The annual Pioneer Days parade was held in Lund last Saturday morning. The town celebrated its heritage with floats, antique cars, horses, character actors and a variety of other entertainers joining the procession through downtown.
The parade was followed by a BBQ dinner, children’s games and adult horseshoes. Vendor booths were located close by and a rodeo was held in the late afternoon. A fireworks show capped the three days of activities, bringing a close to the celebration of a lifestyle that, while steadfast in small towns like Lund, is fast escaping the rest of America.
