Preston Emery Mike was born Mar 20, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nev. and passed away July 31, 2016 in Ely, Nev.
He was a happy person who made friends wherever he went.
He loved the mountains, cared for animals, music, movies and riding his custom bike. He was also a fan of the Denver Broncos and Nevada Wolf Pack. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He never had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, ElRoy and Theresa Mike of Ely, grandparents, Angel and Cynthia Sarabia of Las Vegas, whom raised him as their own; great-grandmother, Florence Steele of Ibapah, Utah, brothers; Alex Emery Lopez of Las Vegas, David (Crystal) Blackeye of Carson City, Nev., Alex (Amber) Garcia of Ely, sisters; Andrea (Marcus) Boker of Ely and Ducca Whiterock of Owyhee, Nev.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Loyann Keoke, uncle Emery Keoke, grandfather Ronnie Keoke and both paternal grandparents, Cleveland and Amylou Mike.
Preston attended schools in Elko, Ely and Las Vegas, where he graduated with honors from Clark High School in 2005. He achieved class honors and received the Academic Achievement Award Plaque from Clark County School District. He was a very intelligent and caring person.
Funeral services will be held at the Tribal Building in Ibapha, Utah at 11 a.m. mountain time followed by a graveside ceremony. A barbecue at the Steele Ranch following services.
He will live forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed by all. Love you Preston
