The dogs at the City’s Animal Control Building are basking in the shade with a large donation of mesh fence coverings and trees. The project was completed this past weekend with the last of the mesh being installed for added shade and comfort for the dogs. The Community came out in force with tons of donations and a big thank you goes to Paul Holdaway for equipment use and digging the holes for the trees, Councilman Setterstrom for his professional installation of the sprinkler system, Reck Bros for the donation of all the sprinkler materials, Rob and Michelle Gelskey for the volunteer labor, trees and supplies, Sid Pintar, Monte Leibsack, Gary Tull, Meritta Henry, Councilwoman Robinson all donating trees, Dave & Judy Bourbeau, Dave & Jan Grubic, Mark Lawer and several people who wanted to remain anonymous, all donating trees, soil, money or mesh for the cause. Now, waiting for a forever home, man’s best friend will be a little more comfortable.
