The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Ely District is offering to the public through a sealed, competitive bid, approximately 15 cords of semi-seasoned mixed pinyon-juniper firewood. The wood is cut in rounds that vary in length from 10 to 30 inches, and longer. The minimum bid price is $40 per cord with a maximum purchase of three cords, per household.
Bids will be accepted through Oct. 7, at the BLM Ely District Office, 702 North Industrial Way, in Ely. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Successful bidders will be contacted by telephone. Wood will be available for pick-up at the project site from Oct. 11 through Oct. 21.
A high-clearance 4-Wheel drive vehicle is required.
