Information will not be withheld at the requests of persons whose names appear in the blotter or elsewhere in the newspaper that are released by law enforcement agencies that include the WPCSO, Nevada Highway Patrol, Ely Shoshone Tribal Police and other local, state, federal and tribal law enforcement agencies.
Report of a suspicious subject — Officer received a report of an individual knocking on an apartment door and making threats. The area was patrolled, but no one was located.
Report of a stolen trailer — Reporting party stated that someone had stolen his motorcycle trailer. The trailer was later located and returned to the owner.
Report of a found item — Reporting party located a bag containing miscellaneous items. The bag was placed into lost and found.
Report of found syringes — The items were collected and destroyed.
Report of a suspicious vehicle — Officer located the vehicle and reported no problems.
Report of a found wallet — The owner of the wallet was contacted and it will be returned to him.
Report of a problem with a subject — Officer received a report of a vehicle that was emitting excessive smoke. Officer contacted the operator of the vehicle and advised him of the complaint. He was issued a warning.
Report of a domestic disturbance — Officer contacted the parties involved who advised they had a verbal argument. The parties involved stated that they were done arguing.
Report of a juvenile problem —Reporting party stated that several juveniles were loitering in the roadway. The area was patrolled, but no juveniles were located.
Report of a noise complaint — Officer contacted the parties involved and reported that a mother was yelling at her son. They were advised to keep the peace.
Report of an arrest — Officer reported that during a traffic stop on a vehicle Alan J. Miller, 37, of McGill, was arrested for driving suspended and on an Ely Justice Court warrant.

Report of a reckless driver — The vehicle was located and contact was made with the driver, identified as California resident Francisco Cortes-Jaimes, 28. As a result of the stop, Cortes- Jaimes was later arrested for various traffic violations, including driving on a suspended license.
Report of a theft — The reporting party claimed a former employee used money from the business to purchase personal items. The investigation continues.
Report of a juvenile problem — Several juveniles were reportedly smoking narcotics behind a local business. The juveniles were located and found to be in possession cigarettes.
Report of threats — The reporting party claimed he was threatened by another subject. The subject was contacted and he said he made the comment out of frustration, not anger. Both parties were advised to stay away from each other.
Report of vandalism — The reporting party claimed someone may have vandalized her property. A report was completed.
Report of a reckless driver — The area was checked, but officers were unable to locate the suspect.
Report of an arrest — Ely resident, Reanna L Peacock, 34, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Report of a fight — Contact was made with one of the subjects who claimed he was just arguing with another subject. The other subject was gone when officers arrived.

Report of suspicious circumstances — Two people were reportedly sitting in their car outside of a local business for an extended amount of time. Contact was made with the subjects, who left shortly thereafter.
Report of a domestic disturbance — Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance and later arrested Joseph Eugene Creaghe, 30, for domestic battery.
Report of a noise disturbance — The reporting party complained about people arguing outside her home. The area was checked, but no one was located.
Report of vandalism — The reporting party claimed someone intentionally damaged her vehicle. A report was completed.
Report of a truancy — A student was deemed a habitual truant and was issued a citation. A report was completed and submitted to the District Attorney.
Report of a custody issue — Both parties were contacted and agreed to follow their child custody agreement.
Report of a juvenile problem — The reporting party complained about juveniles creating a disturbance. The area was checked, but the juveniles were gone.
Report of an accident — Shannon Pass, of Ely, was making a left turn and failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Murtic Rasim, of Arizona, which resulted in Pass striking Murtic’s vehicle. Pass was issued a citation for failure to yield.
Report of a fight — Several subjects were reportedly fighting. Officers later located one of the subjects involved, who had been injured. The investigation continues.
Report of a prowler — The reporting party believed someone was on her property. The area was checked, but no one was found in the area.

Report of a suspicious subject — The reporting party claimed a male came to his home claiming to be out of gas. Officers made contact with the male, identified as Arizona resident Gilbert Quintana-Sena, 28. He was later arrested for two outstanding warrants and failing to register as an ex-felon.
Report of a dog at large — The two dogs were transported to the Animal Control impound.
Report of an accident — John Uhalde, of Ely, struck a railroad crossing arm as it lowered. A report was completed.
Report of a vehicle violation — A vehicle was reportedly blocking the reporting party’s driveway. The offending vehicle was towed.
Report of a suicide — Lee Adams, of Las Vegas, passed away due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Report of a private property accident — Max Kerr, of Ely, was backing from a parked position and struck a vehicle operated by Raven Ward, of McGill. A report was completed.
Report of a problem with a subject — The reporting party complained that someone was throwing garbage in his yard. Contact to be made with the suspect.
Report of a domestic disturbance — Both parties were contacted and advised they were just arguing. Both parties separated for the night.
Report of threats — The reporting party claimed to be receiving threats from a male subject via social media. The male was located and said he was mad at the reporting party, but apologized and said he would stop.

Report of an arrest — A deputy conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation and spoke to the driver of the vehicle, identified as Anthony Robles, 20. Robles was later arrested for driving with a revoked license.
Report of a domestic disturbance — It was discovered the parties involved were only arguing. Both went their separate ways for the night.
Report of a problem with a subject — The reporting party claimed he was doing laundry at a laundry facility and an unknown subject took his clothes out and threw them on the floor. A report was completed.
Report of fraud — The reporting party claimed to be part of a co-op and said the checks for the co-op have been being deposited in an account other than the one in which is designated. The investigation continues.
Report of a welfare check — The subject was located and claimed to be fine.
Report of a hit and run — A vehicle leaving a private parking lot struck three unoccupied vehicles as it left. The suspect vehicle was later located and the driver, identified as Ely resident Keith Hill, was issued a citation for hit and run and failure to report the accident.

Report of an arrest — Ely resident, Daniel Nelson Wheeler, 31, was arrested for an outstanding Municipal Court warrant.
Report of threats — The reporting party claimed someone was threatening him via text. The suspect, who lives outside of White Pine County, could not be contacted. Local law enforcement was contacted to locate the alleged suspect.
Report of an animal problem — The reporting party claimed his neighbor’s goats were loose. The goats were collected and herded back onto the proper property.
Report of a domestic disturbance — The parties were contacted and were found to just be arguing. Both agreed to separate for the night.
Report of a barking dog — The deputy checked the area, but no barking dogs were found.
Report of a disturbance — The area was checked, but no one was found in the area.
