The Sagebrush Quilt Guild recently donate several quilts to the Linus Quilt Project. This year the quilts will be given to children who are receiving care at the Renown Children’s Hospital in Reno.
The Linus project has over 400 chapters throughout the United States. They collect blankets locally and distribute them to children in hospitals, shelters and social service agencies or anywhere that a child might need a hug.
The Sagebrush Quilt Guild was formed in 1988 by a group of quilting enthusiasts to help promote, teach and learn quilting. Our Guild donates to various programs throughout the community, such as CACH, the WPC Library, the Dialysis Clinic and many others. If you would like to be a part of this talented group, come and join us. Our guild meets every Thursday at 4:00pm and the second Saturday of each month (8:00am) at the St. Bartholmew’s Episcopal Church. Or call 296-1195 for more information.
