After Hurricane Mathew made a direct hit on Haiti our EL After -School students decided that they could help in the relief effort. The students became informed of the situation and how to help through research. As they researched they found the relief group K.I.D.S  would make sure all donations would go to the people effected.

As a group they made a plan of action. In order to raise money they sold root-beer floats at lunch, they will receive funds from the school free dress day and students will donate change.

New socks, underwater and toiletries are also being collected. The students are also placing change jars in a few stores around our generous community.

Learning Bridge’s EL after school director is Darcy Evers. If you would like to help. Or have any questions  please call Learning Bridge at 289-3500.
