The Ely Lions Club presented the Boys & Girls Club with a check for $500.  To date, the fund raising committee has raised $25,000.

The plan to have the Boys & Girls Summer program to begin operations in June of 2017 is on schedule, but they still need your help. The Boys and Girls Club of White Pine will enhance the quality of life for children, ages 6 to 18, in White Pine County through after school and summer programs.

The Club will offer different programs, events and activities to meet the diverse needs and interests of its members.

These programs fall under five core areas:  Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life skills; the Arts; and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.  The Club will belocated within local school sites.

The Boys and Girls Club of White Pine Fund raising Committee is charged with raising $100,000 to begin the program in the summer of 2017.
